For the Love of Chevron

I {along with everyone else} am totally loving all things chevon right now!! Chevron nails, chevron home decor, chevron fashion, and we can't forget about chevron school decor!! I wanted to share some of my chevron finds and how I've used them.

For my classroom Creative Teaching Press is my go to place or all things chevron!!

I redid my center management when I got these AWESOME jumbo chevron library pockets from CTP. The cute chevron letters and the hexagon numbers are also from CTP! I attached the hexagon numbers to large popsicle sticks and I just rotate them out daily. Each library pocket color stands for a specific tub/station. This system is working great for me! I plan to use it again next year.

 

One of my absolute favorite things when I was a kid was Scholastic Book Fairs!! This winter I had the opportunity to help plan our school book fair! The theme was Fiesta. I thought CTP's chevron would be perfefct to use for this! 

I used this CTP chevron computer paper for the teacher preview invites.

See the super cute chevron table cloths? I found those at Wal-Mart in the party section! They also had matching banners, plates, napkins, etc.

 

For the classroom wish list board I used chevron border and library pockets from CTP. Each teacher had a pocket. When they came to the teacher preview they filled out wish list forms and slipped down in their pocket. When parents came to shop they could easily see which books their child's teacher wanted. :)

If you look real close to the little blue container there is a cute chevron label from CTP that I used for the wish list sheets.

For Easter I found these super cute chevron cups at Wal-Mart! They came in a 4 pack for 99 cents. I filled them with Easter grass, candy, pencils, and some other fun Easter loot.

Now for a few non-teaching related things chevron that are on my must have wishlist :)
