Hey friends! I am all kinds of excited about this blog post! I was lucky enough to get the new Riveting Robots line from Creative Teaching Press to sample and giveaway to one of my sweet followers!! Creative Teaching Press is my FAVORITE go to place for all things cute for the classroom!! I positively LOVE everything they offer! So believe me when I got the chance to get my hands on the new line I was super duper excited! :) The Riveting Robots items are so cute and I love the colors!

I went to school today with high hopes of laminating my new goodies like a crazy man woman.... but when I got to school I found that we are out of laminating film! BOO!!!! I was very disappointed that I didn't get what I had planned accomplished. :(

Pictured below is part of the Riveting Robots 36 piece bulletin board set in my classroom. This would be perfect for a welcome back to school display. There is a spot on the middle of each blank robot to write the student's names on. I think it would be great to use the gearing up for sign {included in this pack} for a cute display with each student writing what they are gearing up for {what they want to learn in their new grade} The student writing could be placed under one of the blank student robots. The possibilities for this too cute set are endless!!!

Here is a little peek of the too cute Riveting Robots items you could win for your classroom!

Riveting Robots 36 piece Bulletin Board Set---This set includes a welcome sign, a large easy-to-assemble robot, a Work Together sign, a Gearing Up for sign, The Nuts and Bolts of writing chart, 30 blank student robots, and a 4-page activity guide with display ideas, activities, and a reproducible.

Riveting Robots 6" Designer Cut-Outs {36 in pack}  I think these would be perfect to display student work-- Riveting Good Work Hangs Here--- attach a close pin to each robot cut-out and hang student work from the close pin and have a too cute student work display! :)

The winner will win everything pictured above!!! {a $45 value!}

Pinterest Inspired Projects

Happy Monday everyone! I don't know where the summer is going! It seems like it is flying by! I have a very long to-do list of things I would like to get accomplished this summer. If I am going to get t them accomplished I have got to get on the ball! I find that it is so easy to waste an entire day thinking about all you need to get done.. does this happen to anyone else?? Here are a few pinterest projects that I had on my very long to-do list that I have managed to get done...

These story maps have been floating around all over pinterest. I got a poster board from the Dollar Tree, typed up the story map cards and added a border.. I also laminated it so I'm thinking I can either write on it with a dry erase marker or use post-its like I have seen on pinterest.

The next project were these key words for addition and subtraction posters that I made. This idea and printables for the project came from Lindsey at the Teacher Wife {She is awesome!!!}

Last is a little project I made for the UT bedroom. I saw an Ohio State wreath on Pinterest at Just Lovely Wreaths {There are tons of others on this site that I LOVE!} and knew I had to make one but a UT version. I got the ribbon at Wal-Mart and the wreath, football, UT letters and paint for the letters at Hobby Lobby.

What are your summer plans? Are you crafting or making anything??

I'm linking up with Miss Nelson at Run! Miss Nelson's Got the Camera... Go check out her blog for other projects, crafts, etc.

All prices on every item in my TpT shop are currently marked 50% off of what they normally are! So if you had your eye on something grab it now before the sale is gone! :)

End Of Year Fun!

Yowzers! It has been a blue moon since I have posted!! I'm a little late posting my end of the year stuff...especially since we have been out for summer since May 24th! Ugh Oh! Every time I would go to post I would think oh well I will just do it tomorrow and tomorrow turned into the next day and then that turned into the next week and well finally tonight! Does this ever happen to anyone else?? Better late than never, right!? In my defense to not posting, I have already been to two in-services and then by my classroom to try to get a little work done 4 days so far this summer.

 I am so stinkin' thankful it is summer break! I was in much need of some R, R & R (the third one is recharging! my battery was run down! haha)

With all the end of year trips for different things and having a few kids out each day it was hard to do a whole lot of what I had planned. But we did manage to do some things I planned for the end of the year. I purchased Rachelle's This Year Was Out of This World packet and let me tell you it is just amazing!!!! It is jammed packed full of end of the year fun and wonderfulness! Not to mention MOON PIES! YUM!

Some pics of what we did from the packet..

I loved the ones about me.. It really warmed my heart when reading them! I especially love the drawings of me and my curly hair! HA

Each year I do a book swap/game day. You can read more about this at this post and also pick up the note that I send home with my sweeties. The day was a success and there was a ton of wonderful books sent in this year!

One of my SWEET parents got our class Sonic Slushes for our game/book swap day. Such a nice treat!!! She even got me one! :)

And I sent home these little pinterest inspired end of year gifts with my kiddos. I got the crazy straws and Fruti Cool drink mix at the Dollar Tree! And don't be fooled.. the "Fruit Cool" drink mix is good! It met Mr. E's seal of approval!! And you can't beat 14 packs for $1.00!

Well, if you made it this far thanks for hanging in there! I will be back soon (I promise much sooner than the last time!) with some pinterest projects that I've been working on and a new unit that I have just finished up! :)
