We made these little froggies for the hallway bulletin board. I need to put something at the top.. but was excited to show them. :)
We read this book..
And then completed a can/have/are chart about frogs.. ignore my handwriting! :)
We made life cycle of a frog flip books with some cards I found in a Mailbox book.
We had a class tadpole for a very short, short, short time..did I mention it was short? Unfortunately, Rocket didn't make it. He bit the dust and is in froggy heaven. :) But these guys came to visit us from the other first grade class.
We also talked more about weather today... On the table for discussion today was rain, flooding, and rainbows. We did a little pinterest inspired rainbow activity today. Teacher Bits and Bobs has a really cute version of this! LOVE IT!!
sorry for the poor picture quality.. maybe you get the idea. They are much cuter in person.

I really like the Can, Have, Are chart. I need to start using these charts in my room. I see them popping up everywhere! Love the frog's tongue!
